After the German Bundestag passed the Cannabis Act (CanG) on 23 February 2024, a comparison of the regulatory models in Switzerland and Germany is appropriate. The analysis is focussed on the area of non-medical cannabis.
Relevant indicators of regulation in Switzerland in the status quo, the model for cannabis regulation proposed by IG Hanf Schweiz and the German model are analysed. The indicators were used to assess the models in the drug policy spectrum.
